Rockinghorse relies on the support and generosity of volunteers who help us at various fundraising events in Brighton & Hove and across Sussex...
We’re always on the look-out for more volunteers to help us at events throughout the year, so if you are able to commit on a regular basis, or just fancy getting involved as a one-off, we’d love you to join our volunteer team!

We have partnered with goGIRL as their official charity! goGIRL Brighton & Hove is a unique women-only early evening 5k and beach party event. This new fun run is suitable for all abilities – whether you’re a seasoned runner, a first-time runner or an elite athlete!
We are looking for volunteers to join us on the day for jobs including registration, handing out medals and rewards, and also bucket shaking so we can raise as much money as possible on the day. Best of British Brighton

Join us for our annual Best of British charity sporting lunch in Brighton, attended by over 400 guests. This year’s special guest speaker is England’s most capped footballer of all time, Peter Shilton OBE. Activities on the day include supporting the Rockinghorse team by selling raffle tickets and helping with the auction. You’ll also get to enjoy an entertaining talk from the man himself. Join us for the Italian phenomenon Run 5.30 which returns to Brighton for its exclusive UK Tour date. Starting on New Road in Brighton, Run 5.30 gives you the chance to take part in a 5.3km run/walk before the city wakes up so it gives you a chance to see beautiful Brighton in a new light!
We are looking for volunteers to join us on the day for jobs including registration, set-up and race marshaling (directing the runners around the race route). All volunteers will receive a free breakfast courtesy of Run 5.30 too!
