This year’s Rockinghorse Golf Day took place last week at Mid Sussex Golf Club, with 19 teams enjoying a round of golf on the beautiful course.
The 76 players came along to this year’s Rockinghorse Annual Golf Day at the Mid Sussex Golf Club in Ditchling on Friday 23 May, kindly sponsored by Bibby Finance.
Set in the beautiful surroundings of the South Downs, the Mid Sussex Golf Club was once again a fantastic venue for the teams to enjoy 18 holes of golf followed by a delicious lunch.
Thanks to a range of fundraising throughout the day, including a raffle and an auction, hole sponsors, and mulligan vouchers, the event raised nearly £8,500, an amazing amount which will go towards ongoing projects and services to help children across Sussex.
The overall team prize was won by Begbies Traynor, a Brighton based financial services consultancy, winning the Rockinghorse trophy that was kindly provided by James Ross Jewellers.
