Treatment Room Renovation

Currently this treatment room on Bluefin Ward at Worthing Hospital is a very bare space with just containing medical equipment.

It’s used for medical procedures like blood tests, and can be a scary place for patients having or waiting for their treatment. Feeling worried like this can have a real impact on how easy it is for medical staff to undertake their treatment, not to mention the lasting bad memory for the patient.

But this project will help transform the space into a more welcoming environment and provide much needed distraction to all patients. The space will be improved by adding colour to the walls or incorporating wall art, adding different lighting options and potentially a distraction monitor.
