Surgical Ward TVs

A stay in hospital can be boring, with not much to do and no friends around. It can also be scary, not knowing what treatment involves or how much it’s going to hurt.

So, having something to take your mind off the situation is really important. Unfortunately the built-in TV system in the Alex is no longer available so we are funding five new smart TVs which will offer children and their families a distraction from their day to day hospital experience.

Along with the TVs, we are also funding subscriptions to Netflix and Disney+ so that they have everything they could want to watch at their fingertips – all that’s needed is for them to decide what to watch!
