Seaside View Toy Boxes
Seaside view toy boxes
During Covid, we funded sensory toys and play resources to enable the Seaside View Child Development Centre in Brighton to carry out virtual play sessions for children with additional developmental.
Following the upheaval of the last few years, the team are now increasingly working with low-income families or refugee families who don’t have the resources to purchase the toys that can help improve their child’s developmental aims, including hand skills or speech skills.
So, we are funding a new batch of toys for these families so that they can model the activities they use during their 1-2-1 sessions in their home environment to make sure they can continue to support their child’s developmental progress.
Thanks to the Hospital Saturday Fund for funding this project.
