For new parents with a child in the Special Care Baby Unit at Worthing Hospital, being able to feed them with breastmilk can be really beneficial. But due to the care these babies are receiving, it’s often necessary for new parents to express their milk and then store or freeze it until it’s needed.

Being able to quickly and safely defrost or warm the milk to exactly the right temperature is really crucial and these Calesca warming devices are the best on the market for this job.

We are funding two of these amazing machines that can defrost or warm milk to the exact temperature whilst removing some of the risks associated with cross contamination and the older method of warming milk in water.
