Our thanks to Brighton’s favourite vegetarian and vegan restaurant, Terre à Terre, for their fantastic donation following their Christmas fundraising campaign.

The restaurant, located on East Street in the south lanes, has donated £1,067 for sick children in Sussex, having added a £1 optional donation to customers bills throughout December to support our cause.

As the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton, we raise money for life-saving and cutting-edge medical equipment and ensure that children are treated in an environment better suited to their needs. We also support the Trevor Mann Baby Unit which is based within the neighbouring Royal Sussex County Hospital.

Philip Taylor and Amanda Powley from Terre à Terre, said: “We are overjoyed to have been able to facilitate fundraising for Rockinghorse Children’s Charity, such a wonderful and hard-working charity that has helped and touched so many of our staff and customers. We look forward to many more years working together.”

Analiese Doctrove, Head of Fundraising at Rockinghorse, added: “We were delighted to be chosen to work with Terre à Terre over the Christmas period. The generosity of the customers has been overwhelming and the donation will be used to continue our work at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital and the Trevor Mann Baby Unit in Brighton. Thank you to all the customers and staff at Terre à Terre for their wonderful support.”
