A golf day held at East Brighton golf course in aid of Rockinghorse has raised over £2800.
The TPG Sports Events Charity Golf Day was held at East Brighton Golf Club in July was attended by 80 avid golfers looking for a great day out on the picturesque course. Thanks to a range of fundraising throughout the day, the event raised thousands of pounds which will go to help fund ongoing projects and services that we are supporting during these critical times.
Toby Graves, Founder of TPG Sports Events and long-time supporter of the charity, organised the golf day to raise much needed funds for the charity.
Janella Merritt, Head of Fundraising at Rockinghorse, really enjoyed joining the golfers at East Brighton Golf Club: “It’s wonderful to see so many of our supporters enjoying a day of golf on this amazing course. We want to say a big thank you to everyone who took part and to TPG Sports Events for organising such a great day in aid of Rockinghorse.
“The money raised will have a really positive impact on so many children and their families throughout Sussex and we’re really looking forward to more of Toby’s events in the future.”
Toby expressed his delight following the success of the day. He said: “Firstly I would like to thank everyone for attending the day in support of myself and Rockinghorse Children’s Charity.
“Without your support we cannot raise much-needed funds for Rockinghorse and all they do in the community and at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital.”
