Last weekend we hosted our spectacular Circus of Dreams, raising funds to help children’s dreams come true.
The event was held in the beautiful Corn Exchange in Brighton, where we welcomed a room full of our supporters, including sponsors, guests, volunteers, and some of the NHS staff team from the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital.
We were thrilled to celebrate a wonderful, immersive evening of fun and entertainment, raising important funds to support children and families during what can often be the most difficult experience of their young lives.
The event wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our generous sponsors. The co-sponsors for our Circus of Dreams were IMEX, Goring Electrical, Platinum Media, Creative Pod, Henners and Crown Services Group.

This incredible night saw the beautifully restored Corn Exchange transformed into a magical Big Top for an evening of wonder, performance, and fundraising. The immersive event featured dazzling stage acts and roaming performers from the Electric Cabaret, a delicious three-course dining experience from The Secret Restaurant, and a range of new and classic fundraising moments including a live auction and raffle.
Along with spectacular circus acts that took place throughout the evening, guests enjoyed a close-up magician, tarot card reader and a fabulous performance by Big Mama Funk then danced the night away thanks to DJ Matt Singer.
Thanks to the generosity of supporters on the night, all the money raised on the night will go towards helping children’s dreams come true.
Whether it’s sensory spaces to help children with additional needs when they go to hospital, activities like Woodland
Wellbeing days for children going through cancer treatment, or mini electric cars for children to drive themselves to surgery, every penny raised on the night will go towards projects like these.
Donna Holland, Chief Executive of Rockinghorse, said: “All children have dreams, whether it’s to become a film star, to get the latest smartphone, or go on a trip to Disneyland. But for children in hospital, their dreams can be much simpler.
“They dream is to grow up healthy, or happy, dream to not feel sick, tired or unwell, a chance to do normal things with their friends, a chance to be normal. And this evening was a chance for our wonderful supporters to help make these dreams come true.
