Last week The Agora Fertility Clinic, headline sponsor for the Rockinghorse Glitter Ball, celebrated the opening of their new clinic in Brighton.
The event, held at the clinic’s new home at the corner of Dyke Road and Old Shoreham Road in Brighton, saw over 30 families who had been supported in their fertility journeys by the clinic, invited to come along and see the new clinic.
Some of the Agora children were also able to visit the old clinic on Ellen Street in Hove, to speak to staff about how their journey began.
Along with celebrating the clinic’s amazing new site, the event was also raising money for Rockinghorse Children’s Charity and Cameron’s Orphanage.
Amanda Hetherington, Corporate Engagement Manager at Rockinghorse and an Agora mum, went along with her son Albie. While at the event Amanda also spoke to the crowd to talk about the support that Rockinghorse provides, including Medibears for children’s facing worrying treatment.
Amanda said, “I was so proud to go along to the opening of the very impressive new Agora Fertility Clinic.
“It’s wonderful that Agora can continue their fantastic work, to help people have their most precious and wanted children. I was so very pleased to be there with Albie, who cut the ribbon, along with founder Dr Carole Gilling-Smith.
“I am also so grateful that they have chosen to support Rockinghorse Children’s Charity at this event and of course as the headline sponsor for our Ball on 4 March.”
Dr Carol Gilling-Smith, CEO and Medical Director of The Agora said, “To us, every child is special, and so are their parents, which is why the Agora is so proud to support Rockinghorse give children the help they need when physical or emotional health issues become a challenge.”
