Seaford Golf Club’s charitable giving
Seaford Golf Club have presented us with a very generous donation following their fundraising throughout 2017, having chosen Rockinghorse as their Charity of the Year.
Members of the club raised £7,800 from a series of events organised by Seaford’s outgoing club captain, John Pulling, and the outgoing lady captain, Carol Hall. The funds raised will be used to support our ongoing projects at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton, and the neighbouring Trevor Mann Baby Unit.
Attending an official cheque presentation at the club earlier this month, Rockinghorse Chief Executive, Ryan Heal, said: “On behalf of everyone at Rockinghorse, our thanks to all the members of Seaford Golf Club who contributed to the charitable activity with such enthusiasm. £7,800 is the single largest donation we have received from a golf club and as a collective membership you should all feel very proud. The funds raised will be donated towards projects to help improve and save the lives of children and babies in Sussex that need our help the most.”
