Staff from Expand Executive Search in Brighton have been showing their support by taking part in a number of fundraising activities. Specialists in international recruitment and headhunting, the team at Expand have raised £2,213 for sick children in Sussex.

They kick-started their fundraising back in October when Managing Director Samantha Maxwell-Reed undertook a huge personal challenge to cycle 500km in Vietnam and Cambodia, travelling from Ho Chi Minh to Angkor Wat in extremely hot and humid conditions.

Since then, the team have organised a Halloween-themed fundraiser and a corporate table tennis tournament in their offices, inviting teams from local businesses in Brighton to go head-to-head in a bid to become the ultimate table tennis champ.

As the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital (the Alex) in Brighton, we raise money for items necessary for every child’s treatment; from furnishings and toys for the wards, through to cutting-edge diagnostic machines and life-saving medical equipment. We strive to give children access to the very best medical care and attention in surroundings that are better suited to their needs.

Analiese Doctrove, Head of Fundraising at Rockinghorse, said: “We are extremely grateful for the support shown by Samantha and the team at Expand Executive Search. Together they have raised a fantastic amount of money for our ongoing projects at the Alex.”
