Project partnerships making a big difference
For over 50 years, we’ve been funding projects to help make life better for sick children in Sussex.
Our aim is to improve the lives of poorly babies, children and young people by supporting children’s centres and paediatric services in the county. Working in partnership with local hospitals, respite centres and specialist services, we fund projects which focus on improving children’s physical and emotional well-being, while providing additional support services for parents and carers.
Through our funding, we strive to make services stimulating, cutting-edge and accessible for the many young patients who rely on them. We’ve updated our project pages, so you can read about the projects we’ve been working on this year. Find out more about the projects that we’ve been able to fund thanks to your donations, as well as the projects that we’re currently fundraising for…
In addition to these projects, you helped us raise a phenomenal £100,000 this year for our Trevor Mann Baby Unit X-ray appeal, which will be in place on the neonatal unit in Brighton later this year. Click here to find out more.
You can also find out about our current appeal to provide the High Dependency Unit at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital with additional ventilators, so that all patients who require ventilation can be treated without delay. Click here to find out more.
As an independent local charity, we don’t receive any government funding and so rely on the generous support of individuals, community groups, schools, companies and trusts; people like you. Thank you so much for your continued support.
