Huge thanks to our friends at Overline for presenting us with a cheque for £1,000 following two recent fundraising events.
The business communications solutions provider, based in Lancing, took part in our Dress as an Elf day in December when staff dressed in red and green to raise £500.
Earlier this month, Overline raised another £500 through an evening event which welcomed the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson MP, to the Amex Stadium for a speech dedicated to business.
The money donated will help us continue to support sick children in Sussex. As the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton, we raise money for life-saving and cutting-edge medical equipment and ensure that children are treated in an environment better suited to their needs.
Jade Hunt, Corporate Fundraiser at Rockinghorse, said: “We were delighted to accept a cheque from Overline following their recent fundraising. The team made a fantastic effort for our Dress as an Elf event and provided us with some brilliant pictures from the day! We look forward to continuing our relationship and working together on more events this year.”
Kevin Duala, Relations Manager at Overline, added: “We had a great Elf day and are very pleased about the funds we have raised so far, more importantly we cannot wait to start on a very exciting project with Rockinghorse that will be both fun and rewarding for the charity…Watch this space!”
