More Radio choose Rockinghorse as charity partner of music event

Rockinghorse has been chosen as charity partner of the More Radio Live summer event!

The music festival takes place on Saturday 17 August in Worthing’s Steyne Gardens. It will play host to some of the biggest tribute acts the UK has to offer.

We’re very grateful that our charity was selected as the listeners choice. This means that we will benefit from funds raised during the More Radio Live event.

Raising awareness of Rockinghorse

As a local charity, Rockinghorse supports sick and disadvantaged babies, children and young people in Sussex. We raise money for equipment, resources and services to improve paediatric care across the county.

Terrina Barnes, Corporate Fundraising Manager at Rockinghorse, is delighted to have been chosen as beneficiary charity. She says, “We are so pleased to have been selected as the charity beneficiary of this year’s More Radio Live music festival.

“It is such a popular event in the Worthing calendar and attracts people from across the county. We are very grateful to be involved and to raise awareness of our work locally.”

Performances from top tribute acts

Fans can expect top tribute performances from the incredible talents of Vicky Jackson as popstar Pink, alongside the UK’s number one tribute to Bruno Mars starring Bran Mazz, and the award-winning Nya King as the one-and-only Whitney Houston.

Pre-ordered tickets are now on sale for More Radio Live, priced at £12 per person, or £14 on the day. The event begins at 5pm and finished at 11pm. Tickets can be booked via
