March is Free Wills Month and we’ve partnered with two law firms to offer our supporters the opportunity to make a Will…
Gifts left in supporters’ Wills are a special way of giving to Rockinghorse and helping us make life better for sick and disadvantaged children in Sussex.
Throughout March, MW Solicitors and law firm Crosby & Woods are offering a *free Will service to supporters in exchange for a donation to our charity.
If you’re thinking of making a Will, we recommend that you contact a solicitor to draw up your Will to ensure it is valid and accurate. You’ll need to provide the solicitor with our registered charity number which is 1018759.
There are three difference types of gifts you can give as part of your Will, which a solicitor will be able to advise you about. They include a Specific Bequest (a gift of property or an item such as an antique), a Pecuniary Bequest (a set amount of money) or a Residuary Bequest (a gift of all or part of what is left of your estate after taxes and debts are paid and all other legacies have been distributed).
Your gift will make a real difference to the babies, children and young people we support through our fundraising and Free Wills Month is a great opportunity to make or update your Will.
MW Solicitors have offices throughout the South East and are offering a *free Will for a suggested minimum donation of £120 for a single Will and £180 for a joint Will (terms and conditions apply).
