Letting Partnership’s 100km charity walk

Worthing business undertook charity walk in aid of Rockinghorse.

Worthing based client accounting and money protection service The Letting Partnership recently completed a mammoth 100km charity walk in aid of Rockinghorse.

Last month a team from the company undertook this grueling hike, similar to the South Coast Challenge, but walking from Worthing to Arundel, raising an amazing £1,366 for Rockinghorse Children’s Charity.

Lewis Thomas, Catherine Boffee and their intrepid team wanted to raise money for their local children’s hospital, the Blue Fin Ward at Worthing Hospital, so took on the two-day challenge across the South Downs with hopes of raising a significant amount.

The team also received some match funding from the Conveyancing Foundation, really helping to boost their fundraising.

Despite some injuries and drop-outs during the two days, the whole teal reunited for the final 5km, crossing the finish line together – a true testament to their teamwork and shared commitment to their fundraising cause.

Lewis reflected on their achievement by saying, “Do. Hard. Things! 100 km covered over two long, grueling days. All to build support for the incredible work that Rockinghorse Children’s Charity does. It’s our job to endure hardship to ease the hardship of others. So proud of our team.”

Amanda Hetherington, Head of Partnerships at Rockinghorse, said, “We are so grateful to the amazing Letting Partnerships team who took on this epic challenge.

“They suffered minor injuries along the way but kept going. We love working with this company, who are all so passionate about helping us support babies, children, young people and their families in Sussex.”

Thanks so much to the whole team for taking on this impressive challenge and raising so much money for us.
