The Phenomenon Run 5.30 returns to Brighton for its third year in a row…

They say the early bird catches the worm, so start your day with a fun run around the city streets of Brighton on Friday 19 July.

Rockinghorse is proud to be the beneficiary charity of the early morning run, which will see hundreds of people take to the streets of Brighton whilst the rest of the city sleeps.

600 people have already signed up for this year’s fun run.

It’s biggest year yet

Run 5.30 made its UK debut in 2017 and has since gone from strength to strength. The event was founded in Italy 10 years ago by Sergio Bezzanti with the aim to promote a positive lifestyle, centred on daily activity and healthy eating.

This year looks set to be the biggest Run 5.30 event yet, with almost 600 people having signed up for the challenge. So why not join them for a fantastic 5.3km run at 5.30am! (Participant numbers are limited to 800).

Last year over £1,500 was raised for Rockinghorse.

Help us raise funds

Last year £1,500 was raised for Rockinghorse in support of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton. The funds were donated towards the purchase of ventilators for the hospital’s High Dependency Unit.

Hannah Seltzer, challenge events fundraising manager at Rockinghorse, is encouraging more runners to sign up in support of the charity. She says, “This unique event is not to be missed by running enthusiasts. What a way to start the day and by taking part, you’ll also be supporting Rockinghorse – it’s win win!”

Run 5.30 Brighton is open to all ages and abilities.
