It was all treats and no tricks for guests attending the Rockinghorse Halloween Quiz this week.
Our annual Halloween fundraiser took place at Brighton Palace Pier’s Palm Court Restaurant on Wednesday evening (30 October). 140 guests attended the event which raised over £5,100!
20 teams took part in the quiz which was kindly sponsored by MW Solicitors. The evening was hosted by Gareth Sheppard from Quiz Host UK and every year proves to be a popular event in our charity calendar.
The Rockinghorse team had a great evening and are so pleased with the funds raised.
Participants were tested on their general knowledge, Brighton trivia and of course some Halloween-themed questions. The evening culminated in the much-loved karaoke round, where teams could earn themselves bonus points with their performances.
The team from CVR Global were announced winners of the 2019 Rockinghorse Halloween Quiz. They were delighted to accept the trophy and accompanying prizes – well done to them!
The team from Clearline Recruitment got in the Halloween spirit.
Stella Buckingham is the Events Fundraising Manager at Rockinghorse and organiser of the quiz. She says, “Thanks to everyone who joined us at this year’s Halloween Quiz. It is always a fun event but of course it couldn’t happen without the support of our guests, sponsors and local businesses, who so very generously donated raffle prizes to us. We are delighted to have raised a wonderful £5,128.50.”

We are the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital (the Alex) in Brighton. Through our fundraising we also provide vital support to neonatal units, respite centres and specialist paediatric services in Sussex.
