Golfing ‘fore’ charity

The first ever Ryan Vehicles Charity Golf Day took place last month (Friday 23 September) in aid of Rockinghorse.

50 golfers descended on Lingfield Park Golf Course to raise money for sick children in Sussex. 11 teams took part in glorious weather on a sunny Friday, and were treated to bacon rolls and coffees before teeing off at 10am.

The day was followed by evening drinks on the hotel balcony overlooking the racecourse, ahead of a prize giving ceremony which was hosted by Ryan Vehicles Managing Director Keith Murray and Sales Manager Matt Warren.

Analiese Doctrove, Head of Fundraising at Rockinghorse, met with Matt Warren last week (Wednesday 5 October) for an official cheque presentation (pictured above) and thanked organisers for raising a fantastic £2,430 to support our work.

As the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton, we raise money for life-saving and cutting-edge medical equipment, whilst ensuring that children are treated in an environment better suited to their needs.

Huge thanks to the team from Ryan Vehicles, and of course to everyone who participated in the event, for their support. The Ryan Vehicles Charity Golf Day will be back next year!
