Giving Trees return to Churchill Square
We’ve partnered with Churchill Square shopping centre as beneficiary charity of this year’s Christmas Giving Trees.
Located in different areas throughout the mall, each tree has tags displayed which shoppers can choose to purchase a gift for a poorly child in hospital this Christmas. Purchased gifts can then be taken to the Customer Service Desk (unwrapped and along with the tag) to be collected by us.
Your donated gifts will be given to children in hospital during the festive period, including the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital, Trevor Mann Baby Unit, Special Care Baby Unit, Princess Royal Hospital and Worthing Hospital amongst others.
Terrina Barnes, Corporate Fundraising Manager at Rockinghorse, was joined by the Mayor of Brighton & Hove for the launch of the Giving Trees on Saturday 1 December (pictured). She says, “We’re very grateful to Churchill Square for supporting us with the Giving Trees again this year. The campaign enables us to deliver Christmas gifts to babies, children and young people in hospital during the festive period and we’d like to thank everyone who is helping us make a difference.”
