A charity Spring/Summer 2016 fashion show has raised £356 to help make life better for sick children in Sussex.

The sold out event, held at The Bowls Club in Hurstpierpoint on Thursday 7 April, was supported by ladies fashion clothes shop Feathers and raised funds for the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital (the Alex).

New designs from select fashion brands in stock at Feathers of Hurstpierpoint were shown, with the evening hosted by Chris Steed and Stephen Webb of Channel 4’s much-loved TV show Gogglebox. Chris and Stephen’s humorous input helped make it a fun and entertaining evening for the guests.

Liz McCluskey, Schools & Community Fundraising Manager at Rockinghorse, said: “Many thanks to Anne Graham-Evans from Feathers of Hurstpierpoint and to everyone involved in organising the charity fashion show. The funds raised will be donated towards our ongoing projects at the Alex in Brighton, including life-saving and cutting-edge pieces of equipment and items necessary to every child’s treatment. We are very grateful for their support”
