This year’s Dynamic Business Awards took place last night at The Grand Hotel in Brighton, celebrating the success and remarkable achievements of the female business community.

As the charity partner of this fabulous event, kindly chosen by Platinum Media Group, we were proud to be able to support the role of women in business throughout Sussex, Surrey, Kent and Hampshire.

Along with the 16 awards, more than 400 attendees enjoyed a delicious three-course meal, and entertainment from the fabulous and hilarious Brighton-based comedian Suzi Ruffell who compered the evening and gave out the awards to the incredible winners.

Donna Holland, Rockinghorse CEO, spoke at the event to thank all the guests and everyone from the Platinum Media Group, including Managing Director Maarten Hoffmann and his team, for supporting the charity.

Donna went on to speak to the room about how their support will help local children and families in hospital, “We are so proud to be the chosen charity of the Dynamic Business Awards – celebrating incredible women from across the South-East and the difference they make every day.

“Every day at the hospital, we are there to support children and their families learning they have a chronic condition – diabetes, asthma, cystic fibrous, arthritis, epilepsy. But with your help we are going to launch a brand-new wellbeing service here in Sussex at the children’s hospital. This service will offer a wide range of additional and alternative therapies that support the doctors and nurses to care for children with a whole range of chronic conditions.”

“This service will help children understand and manage their condition. This service will support children with their recovery – it will reduce the number of times those children need to visit the hospital and, when things do get bad for the children and their families this service will be there to make it easier for everyone to cope.”

The charity raffle that took place during the evening raised an amazing £10,000 for Rockinghorse. This included an incredibly generous donation of £2,000 by Michael and Liz Beck from Aspiring HR and Carina Bauer, CEO of IMEX group, who bought £1,000 worth of raffle tickets!

Thanks to everyone who supported us during the evening and or course, congratulations to all the worthy winners.
