Community Matters scheme

We’ve been selected to be part of the Waitrose Community Matters scheme throughout January in their stores across the South East.

You can help us support sick children in Sussex by placing a token in the Community Matters box at your local Waitrose branch. At the end of your shop, you will receive a token to place in the box of the charity you’d like to support – and we’d love you to choose us!

The more tokens we get, the bigger the donation we receive. Each month every Waitrose branch donates £1,000 between three local good causes and we are so pleased to have been selected as a beneficiary charity this month.

We are the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital which is based in Brighton, raising money for items necessary to every child’s treatment; from furnishings and toys for the wards through to cutting-edge diagnostic machines and life-saving medical equipment. We strive to give children access to the very best medical care and attention in surroundings that are better suited to their needs.
