Charity tins raise thousands in 2016

Thanks to our supporters who have displayed a collection tin in their place of work, helping us to raise over £7,000 in 2016!

Rockinghorse tins are displayed in shops, café’s, pubs and restaurants in Brighton, Hove and across Sussex, with the aim to raise vital funds to support sick children and their families. Displayed tins also play a big part in raising awareness of our charity. Through this initiative, an incredible £7,164.66 was raised last year which is a fantastic result.

Liz McCluskey, Schools & Community Fundraising Manager at Rockinghorse, said: “We are so grateful for the support of many local businesses in Brighton, Hove and throughout Sussex who have shown their support by displaying one of our charity tins. Every penny counts and really does make a difference!”

2017 marks our 50th anniversary and we’d love you to be able to support us during this very special year. If your place of work is able to display a Rockinghorse tin, then please get in touch by calling us on 01273 330044 or by emailing for more details.

We are also looking for a volunteer tin coordinator to support us by delivering and collecting tins in the Brighton and Hove area. For more information, please contact Liz on the details above.
