Five courses by five acclaimed chefs
The acclaimed chefs hosting this year’s charity dinner, include:
Alan White – GB1 at The Grand Brighton
Steven Edwards – etch.
Kenny Tutt – Pitch restaurant (and Masterchef Champion 2018)
Duncan Ray – The Little Fish Market
David Marrow – Terre a Terre
After arrival drinks, each chef will introduce their dish and concept from a multi-course menu, along with pairings of recommended wines. The format of the menu will include an amuse bouche, a starter plus fish, main and dessert courses followed by a cheese platter, coffee and mince pies.
Proceeding the charity dinner will be a prize auction, hosted by Robbie Raggio. Auction lots will include private dining experiences with the five host chefs. All proceeds from the event will go towards funding support services at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital (the Alex) in Brighton. Here at Rockinghorse, we help to improve the quality of life for the most vulnerable children in Sussex.
City’s chefs pull together for a great cause
Ryan Heal, Chief Executive of Rockinghorse, says: “Since the inception of the Chef’s Table event two years ago, we’ve been blown away by the generosity of the guests at the event. We are so grateful for the generosity of the incredible chefs who donate their time, staff and culinary expertise for the benefit of our charity.
“Funds raised from the previous Chefs Table events have enabled us at Rockinghorse, to continue our work at the Alex. We provide them with life-saving, cutting edge medical equipment and resources that they so desperately need. We are thrilled to be involved again this year for what is becoming a real “hot ticket” in town and totally unique for the city.”
Andrew Mosley, General Manager at The Grand Brighton, says: “We couldn’t be more delighted to host yet another year of the Chefs’ Table. It feels like a real legacy that’s been started within Brighton’s foodie scene, and it’s great to see some of the city’s best chefs pulling together in support of a great cause. No doubt it will be another great year of fun, food and drink with plenty of money raised for Rockinghorse.”
