We’ve teamed up with Brighton’s very first music run as a beneficiary of the event on Saturday 11 May…
Support Rockinghorse and run, dance and sing your way around a 5k, 10k or Half Marathon beachfront course to a variety of musical genres.
We’re delighted to have been chosen as a beneficiary charity of Brighton Run2Music – organised by the team behind Brighton and Hove Triathlon – and we are appealing to our supporters to get involved and run for Rockinghorse!
John Lunt, Brighton Run2Music Race Director, said: “What makes this evet so appealing is the three different distances – 5k, 10k and 21k – and all the entertainment we have on offer before and during the race. With dancers, cheerleaders, live DJ’s and musicians, this really is a fun community event and ties in really well with our chosen charity partners.”
The event is open to all ages and fitness levels. By signing up to take part, you can directly make a difference to sick and disadvantaged children who need our support the most.
Dressing up as your favourite pop star is encouraged, but if you don’t wish to dress up, we’ll provide you with a branded Rockinghorse running vest or t-shirt, as well as providing you with fundraising materials to help you raise money.
Our charity places are £20 and we’re asking that our runners aim to raise £150 in sponsorship. To secure your place, call us on 01273 330044 or email hannah.seltzer@rockinghorse.org.uk.
