Brighton business leaders raise funds

Managing Directors from Brighton businesses took part in a unique pantomime all in the name of charity.

Organised and produced by Lisa Seymour, Partner at SPOKEN, ‘Tycoons in Tights’ was performed at The Circle Arts Centre in Portslade on Thursday 23 and Friday 24 November.

Written and directed by Leah Mooney, the two performances raised £3,000 which will be split between the three beneficiary charities; Rockinghorse Crohn’s & Colitis UK, and The Circle Charity.

Fully funded by the two sell-out performances, money was raised during a raffle with prizes kindly donated by Proud Country House, Alfresco, i360, The Royal Eastbourne Golf Course, James Ross Jewellers, Hotel Du Vin and The Coach House.

Lisa Seymour said: “Who’d have thought we’d get so many business leaders dressed in tights for three charities so close to my heart. I can’t thank the cast enough – their time, enthusiasm and spirit made it the show it was. Thank you to everyone that came and joined in the fun. We’ll be back again next year to raise even more money!”

The cast included Jeremy Burbidge from Ticketmedia, James Dempster from Cobb Digital, Luke Mead from LMS Group, and Steve Darby from CityCabs to name but a few.

Our thanks to everyone involved in Tycoons in Tights for raising a fantastic £1,000 for our cause.
