We’re always on the look-out for more volunteers to help us at events throughout the year, so if you are able to commit on a regular basis, or just fancy getting involved as a one-off, we’d love you to join our volunteer team!
THE 2019 ROCKINGHORSE BALL
Date: Saturday 12 October 2019
Venue: The Grand Hotel, Brighton
Dress Code: Please wear smart black clothes and shoes.
The Rockinghorse Ball is our biggest fundraising event of the year. We need volunteers to help us during the evening, when you will help the Rockinghorse team sell raffle tickets and auction prizes. This year’s event has a masquerade theme and will welcome 400 people to The Grand’s impressive Empress Suite. If you can help, please call us on 01273 330044 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
SANTA DASH BRIGHTON
Date: Saturday 14 December 2019
Location: Hove Lawns
Dress Code: Comfy and warm clothes and footwear (we’ll provide you with a Rockinghorse t-shirt) and feel free to wear anything festive!
Join us for the annual Santa Dash, a fun 5km running event with participants dressed in Santa suits! We are looking for volunteers to help us register the Santa’s on the day and hand out their Santa suits. We will also need volunteers to hand out medals and refreshments for the runners as they come through the finish line.
As well as these fun jobs, we’ll also be having a collection on the day so come down and shake a bucket with us to help us raise lots of money for sick children in Sussex. If you can help, please call us on 01273 330044 or email email@example.com.
