There are so many fun activities to get involved with during the festive season.
If you’re looking for a way to support Rockinghorse this Christmas, you’re in the right place.
We have loads of great ideas and every one of them helps support children and families visiting hospital throughout December and Christmas.
Whether it’s fundraising at your workplace, school, community group or even the gym, whatever you can do will help so many children having to spend some, or even all, of the festive season away from their home and loved ones.

Santa Dash
The annual Christmas tradition is a great way to support Rockinghorse.
It really is an event that marks the beginning of the festive season and there’s nothing quite like the sight of hundreds of Santas running along Hove Prom in their jolly red outfits
Sign up and be sponsored to run the festive 5km along the Hove seafront dressed as Santa. It’s always a fantastic sight to see hundreds of jolly red fellows running together to kick off the festive fun.

Jumper or Elf?
Another fun Christmas tradition is organising a day to wear your best Christmas jumper or dress up in an Elf costume on 12 December.
It’s easy to organise a competition for the best dressed Elf, and as 12 December falls on a Friday this year, it’s a great way to start your weekend in style.
And as for Christmas jumpers, you can just choose a day that works for you and get everyone to sign up to wear their sparkliest, most colourful festive jumper.
So why not organise a day at work, school, or college where everyone makes a donation and gets involved? You could have a prize for the best outfit and even organise some festive games or activities to boost your fundraising.

Christmas Bake Sale
Everyone loves a bit of delicious cake, don’t they? And it’s even better when you have a few different types to try.
A Christmas Bake Sale brings a bit of healthy competition along with a sweet treat to your school or office. And including a festive theme means there will be lots of Instagram-able moments to showcase your skills!
You could even have a prize for the best bake, or most Christmassy decorations?

Fundraise at a Christmas event
Whether you’re in a choir which is holding a carol concert, running a stall at a Christmas fair, a running club who holds an annual reindeer run or organising a festive craft workshop like wreath making, why not include a fundraising aspect for Rockinghorse at your event?
We can help you with anything you need, including buckets for a collection or leaflets about the work we’re able to do thanks to kind fundraisers like yourself.
