Fundraise in your community

Find out how you can fundraise for Rockinghorse in your local community

Fundraising in your local community, whether with friends or organised groups, can make such a difference to so many.

How your community can help

We work closely with our community partners to get the best out of fundraising events and initiatives.

It could be that your local sports club wants to organise a sponsored event for us, or you would like one of the Rockinghorse team to come and speak about our work at your event. Whatever support you can offer makes a hugs difference to us.

If you would like to find out more about getting involved, take a look at some ideas below or contact our Supporter Engagement Manager Emma Cunliffe.

Nominate Rockinghorse as your Charity of the Year

Some groups and clubs choose to nominate a Charity of the Year which allows members to focus their fundraising efforts to help a particular cause. During this year, your group or club can pledge to raise a certain amount of money via a number of fundraising ideas and events.

Get involved in a Rockinghorse event

Throughout the year we host various fundraising events such as our annual Mid Summer Ball and Dress as an Elf dress down day which you may like to get involved in. We also have places available in many challenge-led events, such as the Brighton Half Marathon or full Brighton Marathon, as well as cycles and treks. Hold your own Rockinghorse event

Organising your own charity event is a fun and great way to raise money. Whether it’s a bake sale, raffle or barn dance, we can offer you support and fundraising advice along the way. We can provide you with a fundraising pack, literature and information about Rockinghorse, t-shirts, balloons and collection boxes. Contact us to find out more.

And don’t forget, we are always on the lookout for volunteers to help us out – click here to see what volunteering opportunities we have at the moment.
