Mid Sussex Marathon 2021
Take part in this year’s Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend in May this year.
This year’s marathon season still has some changes due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic but there’s still lots of opportunities to get involved and help Rockinghorse raise much needed funds for children in Sussex.
As challenging as ever, runners can take part in a marathon or half marathon distance in May 2021. For the full Mid Sussex Marathon experience, this can be completed over three consecutive days (Marathon: 10 mile, 10 mile, 10 km; Half Marathon: 5 mile, 5 mile, 5 km), or take the challenge at your own pace across the whole month.
The MSMW2021 Virtual Race will provide an opportunity for everyone to participate in all of the unique events. Once you enter into your chosen distance, you just need to complete the challenge in your favourite location and then send in recorded evidence of the distance and time completed.
You will be entered onto the leader board and all participants will receive a fabulous Mid Sussex Marathon T-Shirt and a beautiful, bespoke, commemorative medal in the post.
If you have been missing the racing environment, then this is an opportunity to test yourself and engage with fellow competitors. The ultimate challenge is the 3-day Marathon but if you’re new to running then why not take on the Half Marathon option?
How to submit your results:
The challenge is a virtual event, which means you can participate and complete the challenge from anywhere in the world, including your living room! All you need to do is choose your distance and complete it during the 31 days of the challenge, record your activity with a GPS watch or activity tracking app and email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All the results will be collated into a leader board to show overall and age category winners. Full instructions will be sent to you upon booking
How to take part:
The registration is £35 but this includes a T shirt, all three medals and a recorded finish time.
