Brighton Marathon 2020
Date: Sunday 19 April 2020
Location: Preston Park, Brighton
Registration: £25 per person
Sponsorship: We ask that our participants aim to raise a minimum of £450 each
The second largest marathon in the UK is back and will take place on Sunday 19 April 2020. The popular Brighton Marathon takes you on a route through the city. With fantastic views of the Sussex coast, you’ll cross the finishing line on Madeira Drive.
How will we support you?
We will provide you with Rockinghorse fundraising materials including a running vest or t-shirt to help you with your fundraising. On the day there will be a Rockinghorse cheering team along the race route, where our runners can top up on snacks and drinks.
You’ll also receive support from our dedicated Challenge Events Fundraising Manager, who will be able to advise you how to maximise your sponsorship.
How does the money you raise support us?
Our Brighton Marathon runners helped to raise over £18,000 during the Brighton Marathon Weekend in 2019. Their fundraising has directly contributed to the Rockinghorse Activities Programme at Chalkhill Child and Adolescent Mental Health Unit. To find out more about this project, please click here.
Here at Rockinghorse, we raise money to support sick and disadvantaged children in Sussex. We are best known for our work with the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton, and the neighbouring Trevor Mann Baby Unit.
Our charity also provides support to many other hospitals, children’s centres and paediatric services across Sussex. To find out more about the projects we’re currently fundraising for, please click here.
