London to Brighton Challenge 2026

Date: Saturday 23 and Sunday 24
Location: Capital to Coast (Richmond to Brighton)
Registration: Ranging from £89 to £199
Minimum sponsorship: Ranging from £100 to £575 (depending on distance)
Distance: 25km, 50km, 75km and 100km

Two thousand adventurers of all experience levels and ages will take on a classic capital to coast route, testing their grit over the Bank Holiday weekend. You can choose to walk, jog or run your choice of distance, from 25km, 50km, 75km and 100km.

A Richmond start in Old Deer Park – then the North Downs and wonderful Surrey & Sussex countryside to halfway at Turners Hill. The full challenge heads up and over the South Downs before the welcome sight of the Brighton coastline comes in to view.

You’ll get free food and drink at regular rest stops, and support from medics, marshals and massage teams. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz, t-shirt, and a special medal to celebrate your achievement!

Registration fees and fundraising targets

Full Challenge (100km): £199 registration fee and invited to fundraise +£300
Half Challenge (50km): £139 registration fee and invited to fundraise +£200
Brighton Loop (25km): £89 registration fee and invited to fundraise +£275
