We’ve been awarded £25,000 by MCF!

We’re delighted to announce news of our £25,000 donation from the Masonic Charitable Foundation!

Rockinghorse is one of 300 charities to benefit from a £3 million fund celebrating the 300th anniversary of the United Grand Lodge of England. We were one of just six charities to have been selected in Sussex, and thanks to your votes, we have been awarded the top grant of £25,000 in our county!

The MCF Community Awards has been a great success with over 177,000 votes cast across a seven-week voting period earlier this Summer. We can’t thank you, our supporters, enough for taking the time to vote for us to receive this donation.

Ryan Heal, Chief Executive of Rockinghorse, says: “We are absolutely over the moon to have been awarded a grant of £25,000 from the Masonic Charitable Foundation. To be one of 300 charities across the country to benefit from a special £3 million fund is an honour and its thanks to all the votes received from our supporters that we have had such huge success. This donation will go a long way in supporting our 50th anniversary appeal Sussex Giving for Sussex Children – we can’t thank everyone enough for voting for us!”

Through our Sussex Giving for Sussex Children appeal, we’re raising £500,000 this year to be split between 10 worth children’s centres and paediatric services across the county. Through the funds raised we strive to make these services stimulating, cutting-edge and accessible for the many babies, children and young people who need them. To find out more, please click here.

From the team here at Rockinghorse, THANK YOU! Your votes really do make a difference.
