Reach Physiotherapy marathon partnership
Rockinghorse has launched its partnership with Reach Physiotherapy, ahead of next year’s marathon season.
We’ve partnered with Reach to provide our runners with a range of free services, including; a physio, nutrition and running assessment, yoga class and sports massage. Rockinghorse supporters taking part in the 2018 Brighton Half Marathon, Brighton Marathon and London Marathon will be able to take up the offer.
Runners will be able to enjoy the additional benefit of a post-race massage on the day at the Brighton half and full marathon race village. Participants will also be able to take advantage of further discounts for ongoing treatments and classes from the physiotherapists at Reach, located on Dyke Road in Brighton.
We are celebrating our 50th anniversary this year and aim to raise £500,000 to be split between 10 children’s centres and paediatric services in Sussex. Through the Sussex Giving for Sussex Children appeal, we strive to make these centres and services stimulating, cutting-edge and accessible for the many babies, children and young people who need them.
Hannah Seltzer, Events Fundraising Co-ordinator at Rockinghorse, says: “We are really pleased to partner with Antony at Reach Physiotherapy for our 2018 marathon events. The partnership enables us to offer our runners some fantastic additional benefits to joining the Rockinghorse marathon team – including a much-needed massage after the race!”
Antony Causton, Clinic Owner and Lead Physiotherapist at Reach Physiotherapy, adds: “It is an honour to be working with Rockinghorse and the fundraising team again! I started working with the charity and its marathon runners back in 2010, and I look forward to helping those who need to reach the finish line again next year. At Reach we offer physiotherapy, massage, running assessments, nutrition advice, yoga and pilates.”
Supporters wishing to sign-up to either the Brighton Half Marathon, Brighton Marathon or London Marathon, can do so by contacting our Events Fundraising Coordinator Hannah Seltzer on 01273 330044 or firstname.lastname@example.org.Back to news
