Our community supporters

We’ve been working with some fantastic community groups and clubs who are helping us make a difference…

Paddle Round the Pier

In 2015 we were very pleased to have been chosen as one of Paddle Round the Pier’s official charities. The weekend festival of water sports raised a wonderful £6,000 to help us make life better for sick children in Sussex.

The Bears

The Sussex-based national banger racing team have supported Rockinghorse for a number of years through their annual charity motorsport event. Last year, The Bears Big Bash took place at Arlington Stadium in Eastbourne and raised over £20,000! Find out more about The Bears by clicking here.

The Charity Cup

Rockinghorse supporter Danny Borrer organised ‘The Charity Cup’ football match between local teams at Southwick Football Club just before Christmas. The players collected sponsorship and a raffle was held, raising over £4,000!

The Sussex Cricketer pub

Staff at the Sussex Cricketer pub have been fundraising throughout 2015 for Rockinghorse by holding quizzes and themed evenings, including ‘Meet the players’ and the ‘Gays men’s Chorus Christmas busk’. The pub has raised nearly £12,000 since their support began in 2014. Find out more about The Sussex Cricketer pub by clicking here
