A huge thank you to everyone who ran for Rockinghorse in the 2012 Virgin London Marathon and have so far raised over £18,000 for Rockinghorse.

Are you ready to take on one of the hardest challenges known to man? The Virgin London Marathon is high on many people’s ‘to do’ lists and is widely recognised as the best marathon in the world. Raising over £40 million for charities every year, it is also the largest single fundraising event in the world with more than 35,000 people taking part and thousands of spectators lining the streets creating a fabulous atmosphere. Rockinghorse is now looking for people to rise to the challenge and take part in the Virgin London Marathon 2013.

How will we support you?

We realise that training for a marathon whilst maintaining a daily routine at home and work can be highly demanding. As well as this, you’ll be required to raise a substantial amount of sponsorship to help us to continue to provide the funds needed for sick and disabled children in Surrey and Sussex. We therefore pride ourselves in providing the best possible support for our runners in the lead up to, during and after the Virgin London Marathon 2013. We will support you with:

• Exclusive training days with professional fitness trainers
• A marathon pack full of useful fundraising ideas and training advice
• An invitation to our post race reception where you can enjoy a well deserved massage and refreshments after the race
• Rockinghorse fundraising materials and merchandise to help you reach and exceed your sponsorship target
• A high-tech Rockinghorse running vest for your big day!
