With the London 2012 Olympics just around the corner, what better time to explore different sports and take up a new challenge? Rockinghorse is offering you the opportunity to take part in the Olympic Gold Challenge!

There are three fantastic ways that you can get involved.

2012km challenge - Run, swim, cycle, hop, skip or jump your way through 20.12km, 201.2km, or 2012km. Pick the distance that will challenge you the most, or why not team up with friends, family or colleagues to complete your chosen distance.Are you ready to take the challenge?

Gold Challenge in a day (gym) - This challenge is designed for the keen athletes among you. Pick your level of challenge either sprint, endurance or ultra and record your distance and time, the whole challenge has to be completed in one day and you can do it in the comfort of your own local gym.

Olympic sport challenge - Pick from 5, 10, 20 or 30 olympic or paralympic sports. Visit the gold challenge website and use their sports finder to locate your nearest sport provider. Don't forget to keep a record of how many hours you have completed of each sport and enter those details on to your Gold Challenge page.

You can make these events your own personal challenge or enter as part of a team. Why not get together with friends or colleagues and choose one of these challenges to acheive?
