Trevor Mann Baby Unit

The Trevor Mann Baby Unit (TMBU) is based within the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton and is a specialist department for the care of premature and sick new-born babies.

Founded by Dr Trevor Mann in the 1970’s, the TMBU has become one of the foremost centres for treating premature and sick new-born babies and has dramatically improved survival rates.

Over 600 babies are treated at the unit every year and we work closely with the TMBU team to support them by providing the vital equipment they need for their life-saving work.

We recently provided the TMBU with a specialist piece of equipment called a Retcam which is helping to preserve the gift of sight for sick babies and we continue to support the TMBU with ongoing developments in neonatal care.
