Neil Plimmer, PGA fellow professional for Mid Sussex Golf and Country Club; Alex Milne, General Manager of Mid Sussex Golf and Country Club; and Gavin Fisher, Rockinghorse Chief ExecutiveRockinghorse is holding its annual golf day at Mid Sussex Golf and Country Club this September and is looking for teams to take part to help raise funds for some of the most vulnerable children in Sussex and Surrey.

The day will begin at 11am with bacon rolls and coffee, followed by a staggered start of the beautiful 18-hole course. Mid Sussex Golf and Country Club will be opening its doors to non-members for the day, inviting teams of four to take part in the golf day. The Ditchling club is set in mature parkland, featuring superbly contoured greens, natural water hazards and a host of strategically based bunkers.

After the competition, players will have a chance to freshen up before a relaxed three-course meal in the club house including a fundraising auction in aid of Rockinghorse. Prizes will include sporting memorabilia, golf equipment, golf experiences and much more. The money raised will go towards helping make life better for sick children in Sussex and Surrey.

Gavin Fisher, Chief Executive of Rockinghorse, said: “The Rockinghorse Golf Day promises to be a great success. With teams from companies from all over the county, not only will players enjoy a round of golf, but it’s also a great opportunity for some networking. It’s the perfect occasion to invite your clients and staff for an enjoyable day out while raising money for a good cause.”

Entry is £90 per person and teams are made up of four people. All levels of golfers are welcome. If you would like to take part, please contact Allie Preiss on 01273 730286.
