Juice FM charity fundraising day
Monday 5 July 2010
Rockinghorse children’s charity will benefit from a fundraising auction on Brighton’s Juice 107.2FM on Friday 9 July.
The local radio station will be auctioning off some fantastic prizes throughout the day, from 7am until 7pm, to raise funds for sick and disabled children in Sussex and Surrey. There will also be interviews with parents and health professionals, for whom the children’s charity has made a real difference.
There are four prize lots for which listeners can bid, including a Girls just wanna have fun lot, which consists of a pamper session at a Brighton salon, lunch, afternoon tea and an evening karaoke session with friends at Lucky Voice, amongst other treats which make up the perfect girly day.
Another lot is a romantic package aptly named, A night to remember, which includes an overnight stay in a hotel with champagne upon arrival, a photography session, a meal for two and even the chance for a guest spot on Ambrose Harcourt’s Love Inn. Both lots will be auctioned live on Guy and Andrea’s Breakfast show, from 7am til 11am.
Ryan Heal, Managing Director of Juice 107.2FM, said: “We are delighted to be holding a radio fundraising day for Rockinghorse – It’s really great to be able to support a local charity, especially when you are able to directly see the benefits.
“There are some fantastic prizes available so be sure to tune in throughout the day. All money raised will go to The Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton.”
