CBeebies star hosts story corner at the Rockinghorse shop

Rockinghorse’s inaugural Story Corner, held on Thursday 9 September at its shop in Hove, was a huge success.

Over 50 children and parents queued up to see CBeebies TV presenter Sid Sloane, who enchanted the children with his own stories as well as other popular tales. Children and parents were also treated to freshly-made iced buns and decorated biscuits generously donated by Greggs in Hove.

Store Manager, Sara Mahoney said: “We had a fantastic morning. Sid’s story telling went down a treat with both the children and parents!  People were very generous with over £150 from shop sales and donations being raised.  We hope the mums and dads enjoyed looking round our funky shop too.  A massive thank you to Sid and all who attended, your donations really do make a difference to the lives of sick children in your local area.”
