Welcome to Rockinghorse, the charity that makes life better for children in hospital in Sussex and beyond.
Our mission is to buy much-needed equipment and facilities - over and above that provided by the NHS - so that hard-working doctors and nurses at medical facilities such as The Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital in Brighton can do their jobs to the best of their abilities and offer the dedication and care that ill, injured and disabled children deserve.
Many of you will have read or seen coverage of the New Alex Fund, our appeal for the new Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital. The appeal was a great success and allowed us to purchase hundreds of items for the new hospital which has now been up and running for a number of months. We will continue to support The New Alex and have also taken on some exciting new projects that will benefit even more of the children of Sussex.
